Body-Love-Sept.-2017-Bar-and-Circle

Do you want a healthier relationship with your body, but aren’t sure where to begin? Tired of negative self-judgments and labels? There is no need to continue that way. This Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy  program will help you bring awareness into your relationship with your body, past & present. You will examine the themes of Embodied Mindfulness, Awareness, Acceptance, and Choice through meditation, movement, and homework exercises. You will learn the practical application of meditation, yoga, & self-care; and you will learn to tune into and maximize personal wisdom.

Upon program completion you will not only have a community of support for your journey, but you will have necessary tools to continue personal transformation, as well a new perspective and increased satisfaction with the way you live your life. After completing Phase I, you will be eligible to participate in a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy Retreat and Phase II, which will carry you through 4 more themes.

This 5 week course will be offered Mondays, 12pm-2:00pm, from September 11 through October 9th. The value of this series is $100. Sign-up from here.

Use Yoga and Mindfulness to re-discover your passions and flourish!

Through beginner yoga, mindfulness meditation, partner work, journaling, and a community of others searching for something similar, you will deepen awareness of your life moment to moment, become aware of what needs to change, and empower yourself to create what you want. Development of a simple home practice, weekly e-mail reminders, and a 5-hour retreat support your personal journey.

Are you a “giver” with a well that needs to be filled? Are you craving opportunity for self-care? Overstimulated and distracted by the outside world? Yearning for the opportunity to “just be” and offer yourself some of what you’re always pouring out to others? In this time of great need, transition, activism, and involvement, it is vital to nourish yourself.

Here is your chance. Take some “time in” to connect with and nurture yourself with this 6-week Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy Series.

The series is designed to support you in the practice of self-compassion and self-love. The program encompasses movement and yoga, meditation, journaling and creative expression, partner practice, circle share, and development of a home practice. You will be led through your body to your center to notice, acknowledge, and accept what is happening for you moment to moment, how it connects with your life, and what you’d like to create to continue self-nurturing when the program is over.

Each week will introduce you to a theme that is woven into practice, and then taken home to use as a guide for the week. You will learn the practical application of meditation, yoga, & self-care. You will learn to tune into and maximize your personal wisdom.

Upon program completion you will not only have a community of support for your journey, but you will also have necessary tools to continue personal transformation, as well a new perspective and increased satisfaction with the way you live your life.

No previous experience with yoga or meditation is expected or necessary. Come as you are to create a greater sense of self-love.
